The Numbers: September 18-24, 2022

We’re no economists, but whenever we see “recession is coming” plastered all over the headlines, we listen. With rising interest prices, the government is doing its best to stop people from spending so much money and keeping prices from rising more. We took time together to look at our budget and savings to make sure we can weather whatever storm is coming. What if people stopped buying? How much cash do we have on hand to keep paying bills?

Good news is we’ve been through a handful of these downturn events together. Though it’s not guaranteed, our eBay sales have always remained pretty steady and helped us pay the bills. Being frugal is the other piece of the puzzle. Now that we own a coffee roaster and cafe with employees, we’re in new territory. Buckle up!
